Reception centre for Asylum seekers in Steinhausen
Competition, 2020
Collaboration with Blusch Architects
Ing. Andrea Roscetti - Physicist
Ing. Stefano Miccoli - Structural Engineer
Type of work: New Asylum building
Client: City of Zug
Surface: 15'000 m2
The volume of the new center for asylum seekers creates an open courtyard, with communitarian spaces in the ground floor and on the roof-terraces facing the lake.
The building is developed starting from the module of the living-units: it is an alive infrastructure, autonomous from the context, without hierarchy, that can change and evolve in time.
